Cavanaugh's On the River

Great location on the banks of the Ohio River. Had excellent seating. My steak was perfectly seared medium and my wife had the shrimp pasta which she enjoyed. I had an excellent old fashioned which was mixed perfectly. My wife had margarita which was delicious. Highly recommended for a celebration. The prices are reasonable for a fine dining restaurant.

Great place to have dinner and play at Ballys. It is great for formal or casual parties. It is well staffed with very friendly professional people. It is really easy to find using Google Maps. There is plenty of free parking in their large multi-story parking garage. The food here is great and will come out as ordered. The have a great jumbo shrimp and pasta .

We had a very nice meal last night and our food and the service was top notch. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip for an appetizer and all the table sampled it and found it very tasty. For our salads we enjoyed the house salads and wedge salads. For the entrees we had the filets, new york strip and the blackened neptune. We also tried a dessert and found the evening and the dinner most pleasurable. We look forward to dining with them in the future.

We made reservations a few days before Valentine’s Day and we were able to get in at 9pm. We got there early and they seated us right away. Tawni was our waitress and she was very friendly had a nice personality and you could tell she enjoyed her job. The bread is always delicious with a good serving and the main course was very good. They had special Valentines drink and desserts. We have been many times before and will return in the future.

Had my anniversary dinner here, still a wonderful place, tell them ahead of time if you're doing something special! Crab legs are always a treat and the crust on that filet makes other steaks look bad, definitely can't pass on the desserts! A beautifully romantic place to dine. A lovely piano bar with a breathtaking view of the river. The food was wonderful in both taste and presentation. The service was excellent!

My husband and I were here for a weekend trip. We were warmly greeted by Lisa the bartender. She was so much fun to interact with. We laughed a lot! Robert and I both had the shrimp linguine and chocolate torte for dessert. Everything was delicious! Nice atmosphere, great service and delicious food!

Amazing food and beautiful view of the river! Cavanaughs is my favorite place to eat and I can't wait to come back
